Hosting can reduce in-house costs
The latest web based hosted solutions from Redkite have been welcomed by IT
staff as they no longer have to provide SQL Server user licences or a web
server for the Redkite products.
A corporate
hosted solution licence provides unlimited access to authorised users within
your organisation. The server is also provided by Redkite.
Hosting can often mean greater access
You access your hosted application via a web browser in the same way that
you would access any internet / intranet site. Our clients have pointed out
that an advantage of our hosted facility is that authorised staff can access
their application from any location, home or work, making it particularly
beneficial for retained personnel.
Security
Security is important on our hosted site. Each client has their own dedicated
area on our secure server and this is protected by a Thawte SSL security certificate
- the same level of security applied to internet retail sites where credit
card details are held. In addition we comply with the eight principles of
the Data Protection Act and will enter into a written contract with you identifying
that we will only use the information we hold for enhancement, testing and
support purposes
.
